README for http://hydro.electric.gen.nz/satire/hvhs/2000/mirror/2000-11-15/

Okay, this directory somewhere contains a mirror of the
website located at http://www.hvhs.ac.nz/ as at the
cut-off date of Wednesday, 15 November 2000.

The design has, as I type, since been radically changed
to something pretty much completely different.

It was mirrored using HTTrack Website Copier, which got
rid of the Active Server Pages scripts and turned them
into static HTML files, not dynamic ones that like the
potential to change on each reload or refresh.

Watch out, the search function at the top-left corner,
the one with the blue (in some browsers) button DOES NOT
work. Sorry. It basically linked to a search facility at
the www.hvhs.ac.nz web server and served up results on
the Open Directory Project. Mmmmmmm.

There may be similar issues with other scripts. :) For
example, the random image script isn't working here as it
was mirrored, but I have resurrected it separately for
your eternal enjoyment at
	http://hydro.electric.gen.nz/cgi-bin/rand_image.pl
and the raw images it serves off at
	http://hydro.electric.gen.nz/photos/hvhs/gallery-data/2000/rand_image/
for you to gawk at. Also,
	http://hydro.electric.gen.nz/photos/hvhs/source/2000/
has the source JPEG files for the images used and,
naturally, the ones I rejected too. :)
